On one hand, it is unfortunate that we live in a world dominated by the spoken word, which can cause more damage than any action that comes to mind. I enjoy seeing dance theater for this very reason: it gives us a chance to imagine what a perfect world might be. This performance of "Carmen," is as an example of that.
